AMLEXANOX

Both an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic compound, Amlexanox was traditionally used to treat ulcers by reducing healing time and pain. It inhibits inflammation by inhibiting the release of histamines and leukotrienes. The inflammatory kinases TBK1 and IKK3 are elevated in obesity. When inhibited, the result is reduced weight, improved insulin resistance, and improved fatty liver inflammation. Through this mechanism, it reduces HbA1c levels and increases insulin sensitivity. For anyone who has a metabolic disease, Amlexanox can be considered as part of the regimen.
